SUGAR BEET HARVEST in ADA, MN – Part 1 – Stills

Recently, I spent a couple of days in Ada, Minnesota. Besides the opportunity to visit my son-in-law’s family, his mom, dad, 2 sisters,  nieces and nephew, uncle, cousin, a brother-in-law, I was given the opportunity to observe the sugar beet harvest. Once the season gets underway, it’s usually a nonstop 24 hour a day operation until the end of the harvest. Rain, 26 degree weather, as well as temperatures around 60 degrees, are about the only things that stop, or slow the harvest down.

There are some pictures, stories, and videos on my Face Book page, but they’re intertwined with other things.
