Roaming around on my birthday yesterday, I decided to take a detour to the area known as French’s Hollow/French’s Mill, on the Normanskill.

Yes, this is where the dam is on the Normanskill, that created the Waterviliet Reservoir, at the junction of US 20 and NY 158.
